Support for the TCT mission: To educate, entertain, and engage audiences of all ages through professional theatrical productions and arts education programming. Your support will be directed to the area of greatest need.
TCT Academy offers professional theatre instruction, introducing children to all elements of live theatre, incorporating educational aspects as well as important life skills and milestones. Your support will help children learn how to sing, dance, and act while gaining confidence, learning life skills, and staying active.
WorkShops bring professional Teaching Artists into the classroom (either virtually or in person) to teach a range of lessons and life skills. We aim to expand students’ appreciation for music, drama, and theater through lessons that are aligned with school curriculum. Your gift will allow us to continue to fill the gap left by the reduction of arts education in schools.
TCT on Tour brings the magic of live theatre to those who would not otherwise have this opportunity. Your support allows over 50,000 children annually to benefit from TCT on Tour productions.
A three-year scalable program designed to build sustainable musical theatre programs in underserved schools. Existing teachers are provided with coaching by trained mentors, materials, budget, and support to produce one full-scale musical production a year. Students are involved in every aspect: performance, costumes, sets, and design.
TCT MainStage at the Taft provides daytime performances for school audiences and weekend performances for the public. These family friendly, one-hour, professional productions are often a child’s first exposure to the magic of live theatre. Your support helps to cover programming and production expenses so that we are able to keep ticket prices affordable for all families.
$80 annual dues to cover the cost of lunches at Board Meetings.
TCT offers sensory-friendly productions for those with autism sensory disorders. A judgement free atmosphere where those who often feel forgotten feel connected again to our community. Your support allows for productions in which the house lights are kept at 30%, volume below 90 decibels and patrons are given a Guide to Attending the Show and a Character Guide to prepare in advance.
All TCT Broadway-quality sets and costumes are created in-house, and your support allows for the creation of the transformative magic that occurs on our stage as a result.
Your support for The Change Fund provides funding for projects dedicated to eight pillar areas of diversity, equity, inclusion, and access. This may include hiring diverse directors and choreographers, commissioning a diverse playwright, paid internships for diverse arts administrators, providing DEIA training to staff, and more.
